PRF Therapy

Protein-Rich Fibrin (PRF), sometimes referred to as Protein-Rich Fibrinogen, is an advanced regenerative treatment that is increasingly being used for hair loss management. Like PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma), PRF is made from the patient’s own blood, but it is considered a next-generation therapy because of the way it is processed and the way it releases growth factors. Unlike PRP, which is spun at higher speeds, PRF is centrifuged at a lower speed without anticoagulants, allowing it to retain more platelets, white blood cells, stem cells, and a fibrin matrix. This structure provides a slow and sustained release of growth factors over time, which enhances healing and follicle stimulation more effectively than PRP.

For hair loss, PRF offers several benefits. It stimulates dormant hair follicles, promotes the growth of new hair, and helps strengthen existing hair, improving both thickness and density. The fibrin matrix not only prolongs the release of growth factors but also improves scalp circulation and tissue regeneration, creating an environment that supports long-term follicle health. Because it is 100% autologous (derived from your own blood) and free from additives, PRF is natural and biocompatible, reducing the risk of adverse reactions. Like PRP, PRF is not a one-time cure for hair loss but rather a supportive therapy that works best in the early to moderate stages of thinning hair.
